A picture says a thousand words…

So here are some pictures to fill the void that twentyteneightyfour has left over the past couple of weeks.

Day 1 of London Fashion Week – Ran out of work at lunchtime to catch the Orla Kiely presentation. It was worth the run.

First lesson learnt: There is no need for heels at Fashion Week unless you have a chaffeur driven car that drives right in front of the tent at Somerset House. I did not feel this pain myself but witnessed it.

Second lesson learnt: Smoking is still cool amongst hardcore fashion tribes. Ben Grimes and Lily Parker of LP.BG huffing and puffing outside the Topshop NEWGEN exhibition space.

Third lesson learnt: Some things are better in real life, including Holly Fulton’s geometric inspired jewellery.

Fourth lesson learnt: Gods and their creations are even better close up. David Koma with his Autumn/Winter 2010 collection which was pretty amazing. I am a big fan.

Fifth lesson learnt: There is inspiration to be taken from everywhere. Check out this lady’s amazing red hair at Craig Lawrence’s exhibition space.
